Sara has more than 14 years of professional and academic experience in environmental studies, planning and GIS analysis. With this comprehensive cross-training, she provides innovative approaches to community planning, parks & open space planning, and cultural and natural systems inventory and analysis. As a GIS specialist, Sara utilizes geospatial data to inventory and analyze the natural and cultural resources that exist within a community and on a particular site. Sara also uses GIS as a problem-solving tool for greenways/trails and green infrastructure projects that require a comprehensive understanding of how a community can utilize a space to its benefit. Sara enjoys working with communities to identify and develop creative, practical, sustainable and place-specific solutions to present-day challenges.
