As co-founder of Human Nature, Gary has over 35 years of experience in design, project, and construction management. He leads the firm's comprehensive trail and greenway initiatives, combining his technical expertise in construction documentation, site analysis, planning, grading, and stream bank stabilization.

Gary champions a holistic approach to environmental preservation, specializing in natural systems restoration and stormwater management. His work focuses on reconnecting stormwater to the natural environment while developing solutions to mitigate combined sewer overflow (CSO) impacts. A recognized expert in his field, Gary frequently lectures on trails, green infrastructure, and urban forestry at state, local, and national events.
