Human Nature worked with Strand Associates and MSDGC to identify green infrastructure demonstration projects, referred to as Enabled Impact Projects (EIPs), to capture stormwater runoff and reduce volumes entering the combined sewer system. EIPs are site-specific stormwater management strategies that provide water quantity and water quality benefits; that help to reduce downstream combined sewer overflows (CSOs); that demonstrate innovative green infrastructure controls; and that build community support and trust with watershed stakeholders. During planning, the Project Team identified, evaluated, and designed nine separate projects. The Project Team also prepared construction schedules and coordinated with the Cincinnati Park Board and its contractor for implementation.
