Human Nature is collaborating with BHDP Architecture and a large consultant team on a new theater addition to the existing Playhouse in the Park facilities. The new addition’s surrounding site integrates with its park context through an extensive tree preservation strategy, new plantings, and material choices that blur the edges between inside and outside. A drop-off plaza welcomes patrons to a new entry with lush plantings and places to socialize before shows and during intermission. Framed by beautiful gardens, a flowing walkway/stairway connects the Playhouse to Mt. Adams, Seasongood Pavilion, and the Cincinnati Art Museum.
